Hundreds of different species of birds, fishes, invertebrates, plants, reptiles and amphibians inhabit Seahorse Key and its surrounding waters. Part of the Cedar Keys National Wildlife Refuge, researchers from UF and other institutions are able to visit the island and study undisturbed wildlife (photo by Jane Dominguez).
